I fought for a resolution with this piece for 2 years at least. It’s been painted over and over again layering new information & becoming something new each time. When I settled into this version, I stepped way back to see it. It’s not a large piece but has so much in it that I felt like it needed space. It looks simultaneously like it’s moving & gelled; the charged pace & unseen spaces centered with a soft fabric-like pink wash. We are tender & strong. It’s one of my favorite all time pieces.
